Once the Duno was finally ready, it had to travel overland from
its “dry-dock” in Wassenaar to the
nearest large stream to begin its journey to one of Holland’s
lakes.
He gathered a team of
about 29 friends and family, and with the help of
rollers the Duno was pushed and pulled over the sand path.
How far is not known, but it must have been quite a team effort!
